Antique Swords, Daggers & Arms For Sale
1) Antique Presentation Bowie knife - blade marked "Wm. Jackson & Co. Sheffield." Inscription on silver plate in handle reads "S. J. Sweetland from the staff British Imperial Oil Co. Melbourne 1-1-15." 18" long, 11.5" blade length, 2.125" blade width, European elk horn handle. Blade (never sharpened) and handle in mint condition. In 1905 the Shell Transport and Trading Company and the Royal Dutch Shell Petroleum Co. established the British Imperial Oil Co. Ltd. as a joint venture in Australia. $1,600.00
2) Marine Corps NCO Sword. 1947-1950, made in W. Germany. Fully engraved blade is in mint condition although the scabbard has a repair. Blade marked, "372 Trade Mark Conqueror, stainless, N. S. Meyer Inc." 36.5" long. $375.00
3) Nepal/Bhutan Dagger - chief or priest's dagger. Silver wire wrapped handle, silver sheath, copper inlay of snake (or ?) on side of the blade, 70-100+ years old, beautiful condition, blade tight, no dents, nicks or flaws. 15.75" long. $225.00
4) Katar - from India, 250 to 300 years old. For piercing armor and chain mail, traces of silver inlay remain. Somehow the original sheath with iron tip survived and is in beautiful condition. 14" long. $400.00
5) Lebanese/Syrian Jambiya - Inlaid, carved horn handle, gold overlay on sheath, 9.25" long. Age unknown. $160.00
6) 1850 Plains Rifle, 50 cal., double set triggers, Monte Carlo carved half stock, pewter fore-end cap, working & all original. $1,000.00
7) Spanish Artillery Officer's Swords - A matching pair with wood wall mount for displaying crossed swords. Swords engraved with the Spanish coat of arms and serial number, from 1880's, 42" long. - Sold
8) German Landschenicht. Made during the middle Victorian era (1860-1880), probably as castle armor (Victorian made replica of a 15th century sword). 36.5" long, blade width at hilt is 1-7/8" and tapers to 1-1/8" near tip. In fantastic condition, no nicks, dents, bends, etc. One just like this was seen in the schlock horror film "Flesh & Blood."
9) Antique bone blowgun - Indonesian - made around 65-75 years ago, perhaps older. Heavily carved with animals on both sides and dragon's head at end. Dart shoots out of dragon's mouth. 34.5 inches in length. Bone is in perfect condition, no cracks, no chips, completely intact. $350.00
10) Masai throwing spear, 100+ years old, spear tip is 7.25" long and 2" wide at its middle. $150.00
