Magnifier #5 in all of its glory.  This was great!  I was behind the camera and Bill pointed the breakout rod towards me.  The longest discharges were around 12 - 15 feet.  Bill hooked up a 5kVA pole pig (14,400V, I believe).  It was hooked up to the pole in front of the  house.  I was wearing the wrong shoes to climb upon the roof so I couldn't help in the hook up.  Bad planning on my part.  The very top was between 7 & 8 feet with that huge aluminum sphere on top of the toroid.  All images were taken with my Mamiya RZ67 Pro II (unshielded).

Photos 1 & 2 - The equipment.

Photo 3 - Color film, 3 second exposure.

Photo 4, 5, 6 & 7 - Black & White film, 3 second exposures.  In photos 5, 6 & 7, the discharge was directly aimed at camera but was hitting an aluminum ladder in photo #5.

These photos do not do justice to the live performance of this machine.  Next time I'll be back a bit further (about 20 feet in this case) and will create a deeper critical depth of field.
